For its budget, this is unreal and insanely indulging for every bone in me that desperately needed an action flick on this level. Seriously have to question what malarkey is happening to create this and why Hollywood has never achieved anything similar in its current nature.

A genre barrage of glorious entertainment on all fronts. Hilarious, tense, thrilling, and when it can be, profound. A whole revelation through a grotesque monologue of humourous proportion was just unfathomable to witness play out.

The runtime plays its part in feeling repetitive at times and sure enough some CGI looks a tad jarring but when the craftsmanship of the whole crew is on show with it’s extraordinary action set pieces, I find it distasteful to be so critical of those elements.

There’s a lot going against this movie but it is without a doubt a ride that never lets up on intense action sci-fi spectacle and if that sounds intriguing enough for you, then this will achieve everything you want out of it.
