Jackass has been a part of my life not just once, twice, or even three times but forever. Jackass: Best and Last made me feel every emotion imaginable and even brought tears to my eyes in its final moments.

As someone who always wants more Jackass, I was unbelievably excited for this final instalment. Going into it, I knew what to expect… well, partially. I knew we’d be seeing never before seen footage, a montage of the classics, and a few new stunts. While I do wish we’d seen a little more new material, I couldn’t help but be overwhelmed with nostalgia and emotion. I laughed constantly throughout and loved seeing such a huge part of my childhood back on the big screen.

Some of the new material was absolutely hilarious. One stunt involving Steve-O, Dave England, and a few others was completely disgusting in the best possible way and felt exactly like the classic Jackass I grew up with. It was easily the funniest moment of the film. However, Bam Margera’s return brought me the most joy. It reminded me just how much of a staple he has always been to Jackass, not only through the new footage but also by revisiting his unforgettable moments from the previous films.

When the film explored  the Best of Jackass  and the ending of the film in particular , I loved how it showcased Johnny Knoxville’s evolution from his pre Jackass days alongside Bam, including footage that wasn’t allowed on MTV, right through to the present day. It also highlighted how emotional this farewell is for Knoxville, knowing he can no longer perform the iconic stunts that made him a legend and accepting that this truly is the end of Jackass.

Finally, when the credits rolled, I couldn’t hold back the tears. Seeing the younger cast again especially Ryan Dunn and the friendship he shared with Bam was incredibly emotional. It felt like the perfect and deeply heartfelt conclusion to one of the most beloved franchises of all time.

Overall, Jackass: Best and Last is a celebration of an incredible chapter in not only the cast’s lives but also the lives of everyone who grew up loving Jackass. My only criticism is that I wish there had been even more. That’s a testament to how much I enjoyed it, and I’m more than happy to give it a well deserved rating. I highly recommend seeing Jackass: Best and Last in cinemas because you won’t get another opportunity to experience this farewell on the big screen
