It’s been almost 8 months since this was shown during the London Film Festival as the surprise film, thinking back to it I still come to same thoughts and emotions that were absorbing up the beautifully entertaining piece of filmmaking on show. It plays into a weak narrative but with the sublime editing and short but sweet performance by Dustin Hoffman, there’s still a good time to be had

I watched this originally at the BFI London Film Festival in October and I’m so happy it’s finally being received globally. So much to pick from, the sound mixing is wonderful, drives the entire film and keeps your attention exactly where it needs to be. Being in a big concert hall was the perfect place to hear this film. The story does feel a bit of a drag but it’s certainly worth the watch. Leo Woodall gives a very promising performance and is one to certainly keep your eye on. Dustin Hoffman was great and we needed more! I know if I watched it at home and not in the environment I was in, I’d be switching off and not paying full attention, this needs to be a big screen watch.
